In light of the recent uncertainty over SNAP benefits and increased ICE activity in our communities, members of your UAOSU Social Justice Committee started compiling resources to share with our faculty colleagues. During these tumultuous and uncertain times, it’s important that we show up for our communities, share information, and help make sure our students, colleagues, and families can get the support they need.
Read on for specific information about OSU and community food resources, upcoming Know Your Rights training opportunities, and additional resources related to ICE activity in our communities. You can find these and additional resources on our website – uaosu.org/community-support.
We’re continuing to add to these resource lists so please reach out to me, chair for the Social Justice Committee, at socialjustice@uaosu.org if you have additional information to add.
