Our Leadership
Executive Council
UAOSU’s Executive Council includes Officers, Committee Chairs, and Constituency Vice Presidents. They are elected to lead our union. They work with our union’s staff to develop our strategic plan and implement it with the assistance of our Representative Assembly, Committees, Caucuses, and members.
Representative Assembly
Our union’s elected representatives connect their units to the work of our union by engaging and educating their colleagues about UAOSU issues, monitoring the enforcement of our CBA in their units, and strategizing with their colleagues both in their units and in the Representative Assembly to address pressing issues at OSU.
UAOSU Staff
In addition to our elected Officers and Representatives, our union is supported by two full-time staff members. Our staff work tirelessly to make sure that our union serves and supports its members.
UAOSU Operations
Our Constitution and Bylaws govern how our union operates. The C&B was ratified by UAOSU members in 2020 and amended in Fall 2023 by vote of the Representative Assembly.
Our union’s budget is prepared by our Treasurer and approved by the Finance Committee, Executive Council, and Representative Assembly. If you have more questions about this, please reach out to our Treasurer at treasurer@uaosu.org.
